Goal Statement

The purpose of this academic portfolio is to present my work and show my preparedness to be a faculty member. My current goals are to teach Instructional Technology and/or Science Education at a Research I institution. I anticipate that I would teach "integrating technology in education" kinds of courses to pre-service teachers as well as courses on how to teach science in K-12 classroom such as science methods courses. At the graduate level, I believe that I am most suited to teach courses in designing learning environments based on socially situated notions of learning, science education teaching and research, and qualitative research methodologies.

This portfolio is divided into four sections: Research, Teaching, Instructional Design and Development Projects, and Professional Scholarship. Evidence is included in each section, along with explanations of the evidence. Appendices with full manuscripts, evidence of teaching quality, course syllabi, and my curriculum vita are include
