WEBSITE PROJECT (15pts)

    This project will involve constructing a web site that meets one of the collaborating teacher's curricular needs. You are expected to have continuous dialog with other group members and the participating teaching teacher through ACT. The course instructors will also contribute to this dialog by posting needs, thoughts, and other issues for consideration.    As the project moves forward you will be expected to post current developments on the WWW and it will be the responsibility of the participating teachers to provide feedback using ACT.
 
  1. The web site should include links to external resources, on-line lessons, student examples, animated gifs, and contain at least 5 html pages linked together. It should be educational, attractive, and functional. (60%)
  2. Two page justification paper in which you provide the rationale for website decisions (e.g., theoretical perpsective, classroom needs, teacher desire, curricular need, etc.). (15%)
  3. Final project presentation - groups will present final website for classmates over the PicTel conferencing system (10%)
      1. Effective use of technology for delivery - Did the presenters use more than just verbal delivery?
      2. Well organized - Did the presenters accomplish their goals for delivery? Was their evidence of planning/organizing?
      3. Effective communication - Did the group on the far end stay engaged?
      4. Time management - Did the presenters accomplish their goals in a given time frame?
     
  4. I expect at least 2 thoughtful postings a week related to the web site.(15%)
