Craftsmanship:

Typography - treatment of font size and style support your design

Balance of design - too much white space, not enough white space, graphics/picture
placement

Clean appearance - no white outs, no smeared pages, crisp pages, each page
protected by page protector

Portfolio statement clearly answers the question, "How do I want prospective
employers to think of me and my work?"

Each artifact has an annotation which tells a story about that artifact
( includes information about the context, content, conditions, and your
role).

Language Mechanics - correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar
