Resource Notebook
Due March 27

What is it?
A binder or notebook that has helpful hints, "how tos", integrated lesson activities, lists of search engines, Internet definitions, and useful resources for integrating technology into the curriculum.

Why create a resource notebook?
Throughout your professional career, you will need resources at your fingertips.  These may be for your own use or may be to share with others during staff development or project work.  Some schools may have more electronic resources than others, but most schools have Internet connectivity which opens up a whole dimension of free resources.  In order to effectively use these resources, you'll need to know where you can quickly locate the "good ones".

What type of information do I need to include in a resource notebook?
Your resources need to reflect your unique field of interest.   As a technoology coordinator or "technology expert" in your school, you will be asked for technology advise from fellow teachers.  Therefore, it is necessary for you to have quick access to technology information.  While it's important for you to include something from each of the topic areas listed below, I will not require you to include information in all the areas.  You are required to provide resources for a total of 10 topic areas. I have put an ** next to 5 topic areas that are mandatoryYou may select 5 additional topics of your interest.  If there is something you're interested in and I have not included the topic, then please let me know so I can add it to our list.
