NORTHWEST RELIGION
 
The Northwest Indians believed in unseen forces and divine powers.  They had rituals in which they practiced this religion, through recognizing these forces.

They had rituals and ceremonies for things like food and weather.  They were thankful for everything that they had and were given.  Everything contained power, or a spiritual force, be it a rock, tree, animal, or man.  The Northwest Indian was very close with nature and the environment.  It was a very spiritual place for them.
